Employee Information


The Citizen Potawatomi Nation Gaming Commission (Commission) is authorized, mandated and empowered by the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (IGRA) 25 U.S.C. 2710, the Citizen Potawatomi Nation and State of Oklahoma Gaming Compact (Compact), and the Citizen Potawatomi Nation Ordinance No. 07-01 (Gaming Ordinance), to conduct background investigations, determine suitability, and license employees of the Tribe’s gaming operations as well as vendors conducting business with the Tribe’s gaming operations.

License Required

A gaming operation shall not employ any person as an employee unless that person is licensed by the Commission or has at a minimum completed an application for a license. The following are types of licenses issued to employees of gaming facilities: (a) Primary Management Official gaming license; (b) Key employee gaming license (c) Employee Permit or Employee License (non-gaming related)
